NICKEL POLYMER TYPE SLK

Nickel Polymer Type SLK is an FDA/USDA compliant nickel polymer coating that is hydrophobic and oleophobic. Nickel polymer surface is applied to interior and exterior of nozzle cores using a proprietary two-step coating process. Cores are very hard, corrosion resistant, anti-stick, non-porous, abrasion resistant and resistant to wetting with good release characteristics. Appearance is a semi-bright light gold color.

Nominal coating thickness is about 0.0005 inch. Nozzle core sizes as small as 0.006 inch or 150 µm inside diameter in nickel silver or phosphor bronze are available coated using this process. To specify this coating add 05 to the coating designator.
